MasterCard Credit Cards
These
are secured MasterCards from the Latvian
bank, Trasta Komercbanka (TKB).
They offer both Classic
and Gold
versions. The currency of these accounts
can be
in either US$, Euros,
Latvian
Lats or even GBP.
To
apply for a card you will need to be
a TKB current account holder already. To
do
this you must visit a bank branch
or representative office abroad. They
do not offer
remote opening of bank
accounts.
The security
deposit on these cards starts at 150
Lats with annual fees starting from
35 Lats. The interest rate is 16%.
The
bank also offers Cirrus and Maestro
payment cards for individuals. It also
offers
the same range of cards for corporate
(business) customers.
Trasta
Komercbanka or TKB for short is
an International bank and is the oldest
bank
in Latvia (formed in 1989).
As
