This is
an
instant access savings
account
from the banking arm of the
supermarket
giant Tesco that can be opened with as little
as £1.
The
account can be accessed and managed
by phone, online or at a Tesco
store. It also comes with
a
cash card that can be used at any LINK cash
machine.
Cash
and cheques can be deposited at a Tesco Store. You can
also
deposit
money into the account by phone
or online.
Regular
payments can also be made into your
account by direct debit or
standing
order. Deposits can also be made by
debit card or by BACS transfer.
Withdrawals
can be made online (up to £10,000
daily), by phone (no limit),
at
a customer service desk in a supermarket (£500
daily), at the checkout in
a
supermarket (£100 per day) and at a
LINK ATM (£300 per day) all subject
to
there being sufficient cleared funds,
of course.
Interest
is paid either monthly or yearly.
Accounts
can be opened by adults for under 16s.
Tesco
Bank also offers two other savings accounts,
the Fixed Rate Saver which
can
be opened online and funded by debit
card immediately and the Internet
Saver
which is managed online and can be started
with £1 and funded by standing
order,
direct debit, bank transfer and debit
card.

services.
