No-Notice
Savings
This
is a no-notice (easy access) savings account from
Smile (the internet bank)
that
requires a minimum opening and operating
balance of £1.
You
don't need to be a current account holder
with the bank but if you already are
you
will get a slightly better rate of interest.
However, in both instances the current
rates
are very low. You must also be aged
at least 16.
The
account is managed online, by phone
or through a Co-operative Bank branch
and
you can operate it in joint names.
You
can deposit funds using either electronic
transfers, standing order, cash or
cheque.
Cheques can be paid in through the post,
at a Post Office or at a
Co-operative
Bank branch. Cash can be paid in at
a Co-op branch or the
Post
Office for free and by using your ATM
cash card.
You can withdraw funds online
or by phone by using either
electronic transfers to
your
other building society or bank accounts
or by cash using the card provided.
As
long as you have sufficient funds available,
you
can withdraw up to £250 per
day using
this card at a Link ATM machine or any
Post Office and, if you need
more,
at a Co-op branch. You can also withdraw
funds by cheque at any branch
or
by phone. A charge is applicable for
this type of withdrawal.
Smile

account.
Smile
is part of the Co-operative Bank. As
well as savings, it also provides
