The
Principality Building Society Instant
Access Account is a savings account
that
requires
just £1 as a minimum opening investment. The account is managed in
branch or
by post and comes with a
passbook. It can be held jointly.
Applications
can be made online or by post, once
the downloadable form has been
filled
in.
You
can withdraw anywhere between £1 and £500 in
cash per day from any branch
and
up to £120,000 by counter cheque subject
to sufficient funds being available
in
your account. Larger amounts can be
withdrawn from Head Office and notice
may
be
required. The minimum balance for this
account is also £1.
Interest
is paid annually on the first day of
each year.
As
well as their Everyday Savings of which
this easy access account is an example,
they
also have fixed term savings and bonds,
ISAs (tax-free accounts with an
annual
limit), a notice account and some for
those who haven't turned 18 years old.
This
Welsh building society has been in operation
for 150 years and has 51
branches
throughout Wales. It is the 7th largest
UK building society.
