To open the
account
you need at least
£100 (max. £2M) but the minimum
operating
balance

branch and pick up an application form.
You must be at least

years old and can open it as a joint
account if you wish.

can deposit money into your account
at any of their branches or
Nationwide
ATMs (cash and cheques), by standing
order or through their
phone banking

online service.
To
withdraw funds you can take out up to £300 per
day
in cash at any
branch
or
LINK/Nationwide cash machine, obtain a counter
cheque (up to the value of
£500,000)
at
any
branch or use their online or phone
service to transfer funds
to another
Nationwide
account. If the value of any cheque
is less than £1000
and
it is made out to a third party then
a £10 fee is charged.
Interest
is paid annually and statements are
available online with paper ones
being
issued at least once per year depending
on how often and how you
use
the account.
