This
is a multicurrency payment current
account from the Latvian SMP Bank that is
available
to non-residents of
Latvia. Multicurrency
means that clients can store
and
perform transactions with
different
currencies in one and the same
account.
An
opening
fee
of €100
is required for personal accounts. Corporations
can open a
multicurrency
account for €150.
There is also a service fee of 5 Euros
per month for
private
person accounts.
You
are required to present a copy of your passport
or other official document to
open an account.
This
account can also be managed online from
any location worldwide with the
bank's
MULTInet system.
SMP
Bank
can also supply secured
MasterCard credit cards and
Maestro debit
payment
cards to
both
private persons and companies who are
both resident
and non-resident
to
Latvia.
SMP
Bank was established as Multibanka in
1994 and is situated in Riga, Latvia.
As
well as personal and corporate bank
accounts and cards it provides all the
usual
banking
services such as loans and deposits
(investments).
