unsecured credit card from Barclaycard
currently has an APR of 29.9% (29.9% for cash advances)
which indicates that they are prepared
to take on customers with little (or
some form
of bad) credit history. It is probably
aimed at those who which to apply for
their first credit card, hence the name
Initial. On the website, where you can
apply online, they actually recommend
the card if you are new to credit and
want to improve your credit rating.
The
card also comes with contactless technology.
Barclaycard
tends to be
overlooked by many people but are one of the easiest credit cards to obtain! We know
of one client who although was employed, wasn't even on the
electoral register and had no credit history at all (no good or bad credit)
but still managed to obtain both
MasterCard & Visa credit cards from them, both with relatively high credit
limits. This was some time ago, though.
They report your good or bad credit
card account history to Experian.
